It’s been 34 years after I first listened to Men At Work and I cannot believe I am listening to songs released in the 80’s that I missed. These songs look like extras from the first two albums “Business as Usual” and “Cargo“. The songs are “Crazy” and “F-19” from “Business as Usual” and “Shintaro“, “Till the money runs out“, “Falling Down” and “The Longest night” from “Cargo”.

“Crazy” almost falls in line with their earlier songs, not hits. Not a bad one.

“F-19” is an instrumental, you can put up with (considering how big a Men at Work fan you are, I was and still am a fan)

“Shintaro” – Typical Men At Work sound as you would find in the second album.

“Till the money runs out” – The only line sung in this almost instrumental of a song. Put up with this one too.

“Falling Down” (Live) – Reggae number. Really put up with this one as it was a bit too slow. Greg plays a long solo in the middle.

“The Longest night” (Live) – I saved the best for the last. My favorite from this list. The live version captured on video is a delight to watch. Watch it below.

Way back in college (Madras Christian College) I and my friend Arul Deepak (wherever you are, Aren’t you listening?), in our first years were almost preaching Men At Work because it would bring so much memories of our final years in our schools.

As of this writing one of the band members, Flautist and Saxophonist, Greg Ham is no more. He passed away in 2012. Colin is still active and released solo albums and still tours singing songs from Men At Work.
