Watched this video a couple of days ago and I just cannot stop writing about it.

It is blasphemy and sacrilege if I call Rush‘s music “anonymous” but someone who does an entire album of RUSH and who deserves all the “Limelight” for this surreal effort, does needs a mention here. That person is Tyler Warren whose video I consider one of the greatest or probably “the greatest video I have seen on YouTube” so far. Tyler does a complete note for note exact reproduction of Rush’s “Permanent Waves” album. That’s right, he plays all the instruments (every nuance of it), records all the extra sounds (of the waves, birds chirping etc.,) and then the does the incredible, sings on the album too. When I heard his voice resembling that of Geddy Lee‘s vocals, my jaw dropped. In total awe of this video, it sounds like a minus one tape of the album with Tyler’s vocals added. This is a must see for every Rush fan. I wonder what the members of the band would make of it if they get a chance to watch it. Absolutely, a must watch!
